How much of an omnivore are you?

This is an interesting list, compiled by the folks at VeryGoodTaste.co.uk. How many things on the list have you eaten? My score is 49, which is not too bad considering how picky I am about meat. And only 24 things I wouldn’t consider eating!

  1. Ok, I eat everything and have eaten just about everything as my number is 74. I think the only think on that list that I wouldn’t at least try once(although the fact that I dont’ know what most of these things are helps) would be horse.

  2. You’ve never had eggs benedict? That’s like my favorite breakfast food. It’s covered in hollandaise for goodness sakes. Yummy goodness.

  3. I’m with you on most of the things you won’t eat, but what offends you about gazpacho? Too much like fish jello? (Seriously, horseradish and lime jello??) I’ve had it and thought it was fine; perhaps it was a gringo version without some authentic ingredient?

  4. Did you not eat any of the haggis that I brought over for (I think) Halloween a million years ago? I thought I had shamed everyone into at least trying a cracker’s worth.

I don’t blame you for not eating the Meatster Egg though…

  5. Oh hell no, I did not go near the haggis! I was, however, impressed by the number of people that you got to taste it. I’m game for trying new things of the plant kingdom, but I’m unapologetically picky when it comes to things that used to possess one or more of the five senses.

And OMG, that link? To the 100 Most Disgusting Ice Cream Flavors? Wowzers. Funny how almost all of the ice cream varieties are Japanese.

Silvershoes, I would love gazpacho were it not for the cucumbers. Cukes are evil.
