Today is my mom’s birthday. 80 trips around the sun. She doesn’t feel like celebrating, and I understand.
The past week has been an emotional roller coaster. Lots of highs, lots of lows. I’m having to learn how to just roll with things that don’t make sense. The rules have all changed.
We are visiting my mom and dad for the holidays. Dad’s Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s have worsened to an alarming degree since August. I’m trying to take as many photos as I can while I still can.
I posted a bunch of food related stuff to Facebook in December, so I’m saving it all here as a roundup-style post. French food, cookies, bacon, tacos… and more.
My year-end total for 5K+ runs is 35. My official goal was to run two, so this is definitely a win for me.
