things that engage my fury

Ugh. I am FURIOUS for reasons I really can’t go into on a public website. Let’s just say that I am sick of office politics and little salary games, and people in power who like to pretend that everyone else doesn’t know how things really work behind the scenes. These are the same people who routinely burn out good employees by assuming that if the employee doesn’t threaten to quit then they don’t need any sort of reward for good work. Eight years of loyal hard work (and doing literally twice the work that you were a year ago) gets you absolutely nowhere.

And I’m furious about yesterday’s elections. I can’t believe how many Republicans won. Of course, some people would say that I helped the Democrats lose by “throwing away my vote” on the Green Party candidates. I had to vote my conscience, though. And I think that in many cases (if not most) Democrats are just Republicans in sheep’s clothing, anyway. I heard something once about how Republicans are just blatant and upfront about their evilness, and Democrats will smile and convince you that they’re not evil, and then go do the same evil stuff in secret.
