creepy little stabbing girls

I had some weird dreams the past two nights, and I had totally planned to write them down so I would remember them, but I forgot and so now I’m only getting little bits and pieces. Last night I dreamed something about Leslie and me making some sort of snack that involved coating corn tortilla chips with cinnamon-flavored oatmeal.

Saturday night I dreamed that I was in a large school-type building, and I was following Michael J. Fox around. I wasn’t a character in the dream, and I wasn’t him; I was just sort of “floating” near him the whole time as an observer to the action. Dreams are funny that way — sometimes you are there but just watching and not really doing anything, and sometimes you are an active participant. Or at least, that’s how it works for me.

Anyhow, I was floating around with Michael J. Fox (the actor, of course), and he had some sort of mission he had to complete in this school building. There were lots of floors in this building, and the hallways in the building ran just around the perimeter of the building, so each floor was like a hollow square. He had to go into a bunch of different rooms, and I think talk to people. One room he went into, which was more like a big section of the hallway than an actual room, was painted a sort of light dusky blue, and the secretary was away from her desk, which was not the way it was supposed to happen. At one point, I think we were in a huge cafeteria getting lunch. And then, we were back up on an administrative floor, and he made a lunge at someone in an elevator, who he then either stabbed or they stabbed him, I can’t remember which. And then I switched perspectives to following around a little girl dressed in a long white dress. She was holding a broomstick out in front of her that had a very sharp knife taped to the end of it. She had placed a straw hat over the knife end of the broomstick so that people would think that she was just an innocent little girl with a hat and a broomstick, but she was actually very dangerous and would stab and kill people through the hat. Plus, there were several little creepy murdering girls like her wandering around the building.
