700 days

That is how many days in a row that I have kept track β€” and quite accurately, I might add β€” of every single thing I put in my mouth.

It has been a huge pain in the ass. Yet… for the first time in my entire life I’m squarely in the center of the β€œnormal” BMI/weight range. Basically nothing about me has ever been normal, and now something is, and it’s weird.

My knees have stopped hurting. No more weird nerve pain in my feet. I can squat like a toddler. Running up a flight of stairs is easy. My bloodwork is completely normal.

My relationship with food is still super whack. Probably will be forever. It may not be possible to totally undo 50 years of habits. Thus, the reason I continue to track every single thing I put in my mouth.

(And yes, I absolutely did drink a quart of iced coffee for breakfast. No sugar, but loaded with delicious delicious half and half.)
