The line was wrapped around the building, and Doc and I gladly waited for about an hour before we had our turn.

Interesting and cool sidebar: as we waited, the poll workers rolled two mobile voting machines out into the parking lot so an elderly couple could vote from their car. I had no idea that was even a thing!
