A few last photos before leaving Sequim

When I go home, I will miss sitting on the couch with my mom in the mornings and before bed, sometimes just quietly being with each other, sometimes cracking jokes or talking about life.

My dad is usually pretty upbeat and “present” in the mornings, so today I took an opportunity to ask for a photo. I like his smile here.

I’m going to miss them. Look how cute they are!

Before I left, I hid a bunch of little post-it-notes around their house — on pantry shelves, in the refrigerator, inside coffee mugs, on the bathroom mirror. (The “sometimes I do” one is a private joke between me and my mom 🙂
