A super easy way to keep up with your old pal Katy is to subscribe to my newsletter!
As I noted in my previous post, we are cleaning out our attic and various other storage areas, preparing for a garage sale. I definitely need to pare down the amount of mementos I am hanging on to, but I’m glad I have these particular ones.

1993 was a very good year for concerts! And look how cheap those tickets were! Yes, I did see the Sundays twice within five months and I could listen to Harriet Wheeler sing the phone book all day long.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get rid of letters from friends. I have kept everything I received from college onwards. Part of me thinks I need to let some of it go. A much bigger part of me says no way.

I really disliked the dissection unit in 9th grade biology class. My buddy Sander was amused enough by my reactions that he memorialized it in our yearbook.

I know that those involved in “Listen To Me” don’t necessarily look back on it fondly… it had a pretty over the top “JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS!!!” message, but many of my friends were in it and I always turned out for high school and college theatre performances.

And some original art, drawn just for me (I think? It’s been a while) by my extremely talented artist friend Rob Wilson, whom I very much wish I know what happened to after high school. Rob and I were the driving force behind the Floating Fish Sculpture.
