Jamieson asked me today, on the way to school, “Do you want to hear where Mickie comes from?” Mickie is his imaginary friend; she’s sometimes a mouse and sometimes a girl.
He said:
One time, in the middle of the night, I woke up and I put my clothes on over my pajamas. Then I came downstairs and sneaked outside and I got in my invisible car. It’s really small, it’s a SmartCar, and it’s purple, but it’s invisible. I drove to Fry’s, and I got a long tube. I stretched the tube allllllll the way from here to Africa. Then Mickie came out of my belly and she was born in Africa. And then she came back here!
