i am a slacker, yes, fine, whatever

Yes, I know, it’s been like 3 weeks since I wrote an entry in here. I sort of have an excuse — I was sick for about 2 weeks. Not sick enough to prevent me from writing, really, but I had some weird cough and sore throat thing that’s been going around. I actually got laryngitis, which I’ve never had in my life. I couldn’t speak for about 3 days. It didn’t particularly cramp my style, since I’m not the world’s biggest talker, but it was inconvenient, especially at work. I’m still not completely back to normal. I sounded like a 13-year-old boy for a while.

I had to do baby moves in yoga for a while. No showing off for me! I bet I can do 100% on Monday, though.

We went to Scarborough Faire on the coldest day we’ve had in weeks. It was great (since it’s usually 90+ degrees during Faire season) but unfortunately none of us were dressed for cold or rain, and that probably is what helped make me even more sick than I was.

I found a fun site: www.funvids.net. It’s got some great little short video clips, and some really bizarre stuff as well. Saturday night we were supposed to go out to a comedy show, but ended up missing it because we were having so much fun looking at this stuff.

I could rant about politics for a while, but I don’t even know where to begin. I’m so disgusted with the Bush administration. It’s just incredible how they continue to lie and spin the issues as if no one will notice!
