A super easy way to keep up with your old pal Katy is to subscribe to my newsletter!
Panther rocks!! It was so easy to install. I didn’t have any problems installing it, and I’m not having any problems now. The most painful thing I had to do was reinstall my Asanté Ethernet card driver (and that only because the lightning strike last summer took out my onboard Ethernet).
I did, however, unplug and remove my external FireWire drive, to be on the safe side.
And now I’m listening to Tori Amos’ new album of reworked favorites. I really like it.
Exposé is quite a bit of fun. In case you don’t know what it is (and what rock have YOU been living under?!), it’s a part of the new system software that allows you to hit a key or move your mouse to a particular corner of the screen, and all open windows will suddenly shrink so that they all fit onscreen at once. Just click on the one you want to go to, and it comes to the front and all the windows return to their normal size.
Call me crazy, but I like my computer to do things like that, that make my life and workflow easier.
