nuclear holocaust bike race

I had a dream last night that I had to participate in some sort of nuclear holocaust bike race. We had to take everything that we needed to survive in our backpacks, and time was of the essence as we tried to prepare. The weather kept changing so quickly that as soon as I got my raincoat on I would have to remove it, and once I had on a super-thick gray wool vest and shorts that moments later was way too warm for me to wear outside.

Arushi and I made the final edits to our book on Sunday and send everything back to Lisa. They got almost all of our changes made from the first round of revisions. She is supposed to send the book to the printer either today or tomorrow.

I’ve been thinking about redesigning this blog site. I don’t know how or when, but I want to incorporate more CSS and fewer graphics/tables.

I feel as if I should write something profound here, but nothing comes to mind. Really, what I’m thinking about is this: I feel over-full, and shouldn’t have eaten all those baked Doritos. My cat is unbelievably cute. I should vacuum the house and clean the bathroom before Mom gets here Wednesday. I’m sleepy, but it’s only 10:40 p.m. We have to get our taxes done as soon as possible. “President” Bush keeps talking about the “possible war with Iraq,” and I can’t figure out who he thinks he’s fooling by using the word “possible,” since it’s so obvious that he plans to do it anyway. I also don’t know why he keeps calling it “war,” because in order to declare war he’d need a congressional declaration, which he will avoid by calling it a “military action” like his Daddy did twelve years ago.
