mask on… mask off

I’ve been having a lot of strange dreams lately… which for me, is not really so strange. The subject matter is unusual, though. I usually dream about houses, drowning, moving too slowly… but I was having nightmares this time about fires and pregnancy. Hmmm.

I successfully made my first DVD last night with iDVD! But I can’t say what it is here for fear of spoiling a surprise. Now I have to go read the instruction manual for DVD Studio Pro, which I’d like to use with my next project. I’m a professional designer, I should be able to figure this stuff out, right?

The only sucky thing about this is that I don’t have OS X versions of Premiere or iDVD yet… so I have to boot up in OS 9 to work on my projects. Yech! Neither program likes working in the Classic environment, so I’m out of luck.

Man, there’s SO many projects I want to work on now. Arushi keeps saying we should start our next book, but I don’t really have any ideas for one yet. I’m not sure if I can really write another cookbook at the moment, I think I may have put all my good ideas into the current one. I have an idea for another crazy quilt, and some ideas for paintings. Plus, several website ideas. Not to mention this DVD project, which I want to get finished by the Christmas holiday.

I am totally rocking on the CSS… I’m loving what I can do with it. The new look for this weblog is all done with CSS (those gray boxes surrounding the dates are not done by table or formatting markup!) I still have a lot to learn, though.
